There is one chair, one mirror and all the time your haircut needs. The cut is designed for your head and your daily life, not for a label.

At BellaDona I am the only one working. There is no team rotating through, and no diary jumping from chair to chair. That has a huge practical advantage: I remember your hair. I know if your fringe was shorter last year, I know your hair frizzes at the nape, I know which product worked for you and which did not. You do not have to explain everything again, and many misunderstandings are avoided.

It also means that if a colour or a cut needs continuity, it gets it. And if one day you feel like a change, we talk about what we already know works for you before taking a risk.

How we choose the cut together

The appointment always starts the same way: by talking. We go through four things before picking up the scissors:

• The shape of your face and your hairline, to decide where the fringe begins and how much to open the frame around the face.
• Texture and density: fine, straight hair is not cut the same way as thick, wavy hair.
• The real time you will spend styling it at home in the morning.
• The maintenance you are willing to take on, and how often you want to come back.

With that, we decide together how much to take off, where to add shape and how to leave the length so it grows out well. A haircut that looks great on day one is easy; the goal is for it to still work six weeks later.

How long the appointment takes

Between 30 and 45 minutes, depending on hair length and finish. That includes a wash, a personalised cut and blow-dry with professional products. Because I see only one person at a time, there are no interruptions and no rushing: it is time spent calmly.

Whether you come for a classic cut, a quick trim or a complete change of look, the technical standard is the same. What changes is where we start from, not the attention you get.

I am at Calle Aribau, 271, ground floor (08021 Barcelona). It is a very well-connected area:

• Bus: line V13, stop Aribau - Laforja, about a 4-minute walk.
• FGC: Muntaner, Sant Gervasi and Plaça Molina stations, about a 10-13 minute walk.
• Car: Sant Elies car park (Carrer de Sant Elies, 21), a few minutes away.
